I am looking for a residential house to buy for a couple working at both of those hospitals. Is Reunion/Loughman the best place considering traffic and proximity to their places of work? Any developments that cater just to couples, no kids, but not 55+ yet?

Thanks.

Live in Celebration, it's a nice community. Living in Reunion would be absolute crap.

Championsgate would be my recommendation if looking for equitable commutes. It used to be almost exclusively vacationers with second homes but has picked up steam for those looking for primary housing and wanting some nearby services which isn't the case for much of the development in that area. There's a community shopping area with a Publix, Walgreens, fast food and chain casual restaurants, banks and other amenities right at the entrance off of I-4. Pulte, Lennar and Ryan Homes (among others) have sales centers set up there for new home communities.

And the exit on I-4 is atrocious and has major slow downs and accidents every day. When my son lived in Davenport, just getting past Championsgate as it grew increased his drive time to where he works on Disney Property via 1-4 take about 20-30 minutes longer than the 15 minutes when he moved out there.

OP might want to check out some new subdivisions like Murano at Westside off Funie Steed and Westside Blvd in Kissimmee. That area is close to 27 to get to Heart of Florida and not far from Celebration without the hassle of Championsgate.

Thanks. This is one of my top options. My questions would be, if I-4 gets congested, are there backroads going to Heart of Florida? How's the resale value of houses in Celebration?

Thanks, Rabflmom. I'll check those subdivisions.

Thanks, kyle19125. If Championsgate "gate" becomes congested, are there any backroads going to the hospitals? We are front liners, 24/7 on call. During emergencies, we should be within 20 mins to the hospitals.

Yes there are. I would imagine however your "on call" happens overwhelmingly during non-peak hours which is when traffic won't be an issue.
