My insurer went out of business and replaced with "Slide". I am near Orlando. Please provide options. Thanks.

We’re in Gainesville and have Nationwide. When we lived in Weston, we had Universal.

Your best bet is to find an insurance agent. If you or your friends don’t know of anyone, I’d call a few real estate offices and see who their agents recommend.

Good luck. Is your roof more than 15 years old? That’s becoming a problem with these companies.

Hey there, I replied to your DM as well. I'd recommend an independent agent that has a portfolio of companies they deal with and can best match you versus dealing with an agent repping one company. Also should coverage change again an independent can quickly compare other carriers for a potentially better match. I'd specifically recommend the Carli Insurance Agency which has been around for years and has a great reputation.

Tower Hill and Florida Family are both top rated companies that I’ve personally used.

Actually I would stay away from Tower Hill. They are not renewing a lot of Florida policies with the explanation of reduction of hurricane exposure since the end of 2021. They also have a lot of complaints.
