Anyone have any suggestions for a good restaurant in Orlando that either cater to small groups or would just be considered a great place for staff Christmas dinner or party? The group is about 25-30 people, including about 6 children.

Buffet would be nice but its not a must and because its the Holidays, not too casual an atmosphere. If there is dancing, that's even better, but not necessary either. Budget $40-$80 pp.

Would really appreciate comments on past experiences or some suggestions.

Columbia in Celebration or Ceviche in Church Street Station both might work for you.

Go to Timpano Chophouse on Sand Lake Rd. They have great food and a nice ambiance. They also have a private room that could accomodate your party and easily fit your price range $40-$80 per person. My daughter worked there so I've been there numerous times... always a good meal. You need to call early because all the good places get booked up.

There's an awesome place in Lake Mary called Appleton's. They decorate every wall in that building with lights and Christmas decorations. They have Christmas music playing. It's cozy in there and the place is all yours. We had our christmas party there last year. The food was great and I got it for $15pp. It was a small buffet with pasta, meat, potato, and veggie. We brought our own desert. You can hire a DJ there if you'd like for dancing or Karoake. (we had Karoake)

Boma doesn't have any private rooms or even sections that are broken up a bit by some walls, it's not a place I'd plan a company Christmas party.

Another option might be City Arts Factory downtown, the second floor loft has a perfect sized room that can be rented and you can have a caterer bring in food.

Here are some other ideas. Hard Rock has private rooms and woould be a festive place.

There are some outstanding places at the WDW hotels, or Gaylord .

Tuscan grill is very nice

Mimi's

Bonefish

Season 54

The food at the Hard Rock is terrible. And by the way, it's Season's 52, not Season's 54. I ate there last night, and they don't have private rooms.

If you want theme park resort dining, Jiko, Citrico, and California Grill all have private rooms and would work on the high end of your budget.

Timpano's is another good choice, and I believe the Samba Room has a private room, and great food. That one would definitely work with your budget.
