It's a quiet neighborhood on the north end of Clermont/Minneola. (I think they have a Clermont mailing address but are actually within the city limits of Minneola.) It's not gated if that's something important to you. I don't believe they offer any amenities such as a community pool or playground.

The disadvantages are that they back up to another community that's not so nice, and they've had some problems with untuly teens from that other community. They also had a rash of burglaries earlier this year, but that seems to have stopped.

I know a family that lives there and they like it.

I thought you were all set to sign a lease in a short-term rental place in Davenport?

Thanks for the input. I was set to sign a lease on a property but I'm not so sure now because of a few different factors.

Oak Valley is a nice community. My inlaws have lived there for several years. If you are a resident of Oak Valley, I believe you have access to a small park and dock on Lake Minneola.

The small park and dock belong to Park Ridge. Oak Valley is in the city of Minneola; slightly encompassed by Clermont. It's a mid to larger sized community with a small playground. Lot sizes are nice (generally 1/4 acre or more); lots of mature trees.

Lisa you are right. As I posted the comment, I did realize that my inlaws actually live in Park Ridge, which is right next to Oak Valley.
