Yeah this is very unusual I'd say.....It's not like this is garden rain coming down....It's been pouring buckets for like 4 or 5 days straight...yikes...

I just feel so sorry for the folks who have been flooded out of their homes by this system.

I hope they can recover soon.

Well, I hope your rare treat holds up for two days now..lol....I am heading down in about two hours...LOL! Not for fun tho...gotta unload that 28 footer that the hubby is driving down full of stuff for the house!

Seriously, I hope any rain that is causing issues for the good folks down there stops soon. I personally enjoy a good thunderstorm myself, but too much of a good thing...well...it's never good.

It looks like we might have a beautiful day!

Parrotrosie, good luck with getting that truck unloaded. I can sympathize, we moved in the day that Hurricane Frances hit, and got the truck unloaded as the first bands hit.

I mirror the posts expressing hope for those who are dealing with flooding that they can get back into their hoems and recover soon.

I'll cross my fingers for dry weather for your move! It's no fun at all unloading your stuff in the rain!
How exciting for you! Have a great time and have fun

It's been dry all morning with the sun out. I think the worst is over.

Ahhh ... tell me about it. If I ever get a hold of the person who named this "the sunshine state", they'll be sorry.

I really feel for all those folks in E & W Volusia.....and absolutely ANYONE who picked this week to vacation here. Luckily, I live in an area where the water runs off quickly, but lots of people out there are going to need help getting there homes back in order once the water recedes.
