My fiance and I are planning on moving in January of 2010. We are unsure of where to move to, but I am looking for some help on suggesting a few places that have the following:

-pets allowed, 2 dogs both less than 25 lbs.
-pool, community or private.
-on-site fitness center,
-1 bedroom, or more.
-1 bathroom, or more.
-preferably a kitchen with a decent amount of counter space,
and something similar to an island, or bar counter.
-SAFE! meaning, *less chance of alligators and snakes.
*low crime rate.
*gated community, preferably.
and anything else that comes into mind, that means safe.

All of this, and if possibly more, for no more than $550 a month, not including utilities.

If you happen to know of any place like this, or someone who I can speak with that would know, please let me know.

Thanks :]

Wow, your asking for a lot at that price range, it would typically cost you $700+ for that. You'll have to live probably 20 miles outside of the urban areas to get that rate, good luck.

You're not finding that in the Western burbs--not in a good area anyhow. Maybe in Ocoee along the border of Crime Hills or near the WalMart, but not in a "safe" area.

I smell another "We moved here and it's so expensive and we can't find jobs, and we hate it here, blah, blah, blah" threads coming down the line..

Default What?!

$550 a month or less? What planet are you from? You can't hardly get in a trailer park for that price. Housing is not that cheap anywhere. I did see some nice looking condos advertised for really good prices. $700 to $1000 for a 3 bedroom is good! I am from Norfolk, Virginia and you can get a ghetto appartment for the same price. A nice neighborhood would be $1200 plus. Don't get your hopes up for that $550 price!

It can be don. The Regency in Lake Mary has them at that price. Just look on Craigslist. Lake Mary is very safe and I recommend these condos all the time. Just want to send these pics of the condos and amenities. They are also negotiable. http://reprofl.com/default.asp?f=lis...2&listingtype= If you want, I can send some links to the rentals, just PM me.

Agreed, but this poster has posted in numerous threads and already received quite a bit of feedback about rental prices throughout the state.

$550 would be extremely difficult. Just curious as to what part of Mass you are from as from my memory, you could not find anything near that price range in most parts of Mass or New England for that matter.

My guess is someplace out in the boonies in Western MA. West of 91 and north of 90 there are definitely some small, po-dunk towns where rents are still in that range.

I am currently moving from Western Mass to Florida. You cannot find anything out here for under 800 unless you want a crappy studio with NOTHING included. All rents up here are 850 and up with nothing included. We rented a crappy 1 bedroom for 675 and that was over 5 years ago.

I don't know the last time you've been to western Mass, but it's pretty expensive there too, as the poster just stated.

It is a tad bit cheaper here around Orlando, although I imagine wages are supposedly less here also, so it evens out.
