Moderator (Orlando, Zellwood, Christmas: live, things to do, farmers market)

I was wondering if the moderators would consider starting a STICKY thread about "Things to do in Orlando"

I have seen alot of threads from tourists and locals alike wondering what there was to do here besides the parks.
We are one of the top tourist destinations so it would seem fitting that we had a sticky offering all sorts of different options.

I know you can find what to do here by going through hundreds of different threads but that can take a very long time.
It would be nice to have a thread offering everything from parks, sporting events, festivals,,annual fairs, state parks, farmers markets, etc..
There are so many cool things to do it would be great to have it all in one thread,(without nasty comments

As a local it would also be nice to be able to come here on a boring weekend and look through and find something to do you never have before..

I don't mean writing a specific concert that is coming for one weekend but more of a constant or ever year type thing.
For example, the corn maze in Zellwood every fall or Ice at Gaylord Palms at Christmas.

this is a great idea, because therers always something, but many people don't know, and its a good way to advertise.

That's funny, because I was just thinking yesterday about how there should be a way to find out all the free or low-cost stuff to do around Orlando, since I'm sure there's more to this city than theme parks. I haven't lived here long enough to know where those places are, though.

We are only allowed two sticky's per forum. We have a chat and photo sticky for Orlando.

The best work around would be to use the chat thread.

Maybe we could start a thread simply titled "Things to do in Orlando"

That way it is easy to remember and could direct future questions about that topic to that thread.
