Hello. I'm planning to move to orlando,fl this year from augusta,ga for job opportunities. I have a section 8 voucher for $450/mo 2br. I'm unsure of the portability process and was just wondering if that amount will increase when i move.

With the unemployment rate predicted to reach 10% or more in Orlando before the end of the year, don't move here for job opportunities. You'd be better off in many other areas with lower costs of living and much better employment options.

I want to move to FL from Seattle. My voucher for King County is $968. I have a nice brand new apt 2bed and 2bath. A studio would cost $450 in Seattle. I would like to know the same question though

why not call the city where you want to port to and get the correct information.......instead of getting halfs-truths on this board.............not many people on here approve of section 8 anyway.
