it is sad to live your life bitter. I know people like this, tough to be around them, so much negativity. I think of those who just don't have anything good to say ever. Not people that are depressed, there is a big difference.
Had a relative like that and everyone would just cringe when we knew she was going to be around. One thing to be bitter and spread all that negativity everywhere, but add being mean and petty to the mix - no one could stand to be around her and it was sad, because she wouldn't listen when someone tried to help her. Do feel bad for her, because in the end she died just like she lived.
Life is way too short to spend it wrapped up in bitterness.
It's one of those funny things about life. When you're in your 20s your health is good and so many things just seem to come your way. But, bizarrely, that's also the age when choosing to be bitter seems "cool". It's all about raging against the man. When you're 20 being bitter makes you feel that you're somehow "superior." Then when you're 60 and you actually have things to be bitter about, you look back at your 20s and realize what a fool you were.
So sad we waste time being bitter, especially when most of us are luckier than we realize. No matter how bad you think things are, there are people all over the world who would give anything to live just one day of the lives we get to live.
Those are the unhappy people..can't let go & enjoy life..
