Being on my own it would be very easy to start drinking from the containers but it's something I've never done and don't intend on doing. I just don't think it's something that should be done.
Redbird---I use paper plates and eat from the container also and see nothing wrong with that. Besides, being a bacholar also, it saves on washing a lot of dishes.

Yeah, I've even eaten in front of the TV.

Tookey, I've been doing it (eating in front of the tv) since I was a kid. BTW, You're not the only klutz drinking from the container. That's another reason why I don't drink from them---I'd be wearing more than I drank.
I think family spit can stay together!! Unless, someone is sick, of course
Tas, I have to agree with you to a certain degree. If I'm really close to someone, I don't have a problem sharing from my plate and glass/cup but that's as far as I go.

Makes me crazy...that and people who will taste food right from the pot repeatedly....Man grab a plate and spoon/fork sit down and don't stick it back into the pot....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

same. that's about my limit too. i share ith others but in that case i pre-divide it and pu it into separate cups/plates/napkins before either of us touches it.

i might take one bite with a - new - fork/spoon to figure out what it is (i can't see it) but after i've licked the spoon/fork i definitely don't put it bavk into the pot/pan.
