Filling in for Karla today!

Did you know... 53,800 people die annually from exposure to secondhand smoke?

Coastal will be back tomorrow! Have a great day!

Well this one is sort of hard to prove. Second hand smoke from what? If you're locked in a room with a cigarette smoker you'll get plenty second hand smoke. Although, mixed with other air it's not nearly as bad as first hand smoke. But concentrations could get high enough in an airtight room where it could reach that point. "Second hand smoke" I'm afraid would have to include all other air borne pollutants....Definitely not defending smoking as we all know it's unhealthy for all.

Second had smoke isn't filtered. You get the full dose. I'm glad I no longer work in a tormented place where there was a cloud all the time.

PS I think this is for Tuesday the 5th and for CoastalMaine not Karla? ....?

Not filtered but diluted. Compared to being drawn directly into the lungs rather than mixed with atmosphere. All bad ! Yes, appears to be some technical errors.... As long as no one makes fun of me Thursday!! I'm cool with it!

Well here in On Canada it's pretty hard to get any second hand smoke. It's against the law to smoke just about anywhere. We even have a new law that you can't smoke in your own vehicle if there is anyone under 18 years old in the vehicle. No smoking in any place of employment and that includes all bars and all other entertainment venues. It's brutal to be a smoker here.
