TEHRAN (Reuters) – Iran has banned the production of Valentine's Day gifts and any promotion of the day celebrating romantic love to combat what it sees as a spread of Western culture, Iranian media reported.
The February 14 celebration named after a Christian saint is not officially banned but hardliners have repeatedly warned about the corruptive spread of Western values. Under Iran's Islamic law, unmarried couples are not allowed to mingle.

I read "Reading Lolita in Iran." True story. And it serves to remind us that we really are free. We can read what we want and send Valentine's Day cards if we want.
I have a feeling someone is gonna send him a mushroom cloud before long. With love of course... LOL!
I hope they don't do it while we have troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.
