Here's a mystery that gives a whole new meaning to the phrase ``piano bar.''
A grand piano recently appeared on a sandbar in Biscayne Bay, about 200 yards from the Quayside condominiums off Northeast 107th Street. Whoever put it there placed it at the highest point of the sandbar so that it's not underwater during high tide.

I can hardly stand the thought of a baby grand piano being treated that way. A cleaning, a tuning and a good coat of polish would have turned it into a useful musical instrument again. Plus it would have been graceful and beautiful. There are many who would have been totally pleased to have that in their home, school or church.
So that's where the Phantom of the Opera's been hanging out..
