Thanks for the QOTD Joy... hope you don't mind that I grabbed a whisky rather than a tea or coffee... it's right on Happy Hour downunder!

Today's Questions:

When it comes to vacations or trips, who in your household is:
There's no one else in my household, but when I take vacations or trips I usually go with my daughter or one of my two best friends!
The planner? Me
The packer? We each do our own
The navigator? Me if I'm with one of my best friends... otherwise it's daughter or other best friend.
The backseat driver who makes you ? I wouldn't take any major road trip with a backseat driver - I'd end up killing them!

On road trips, which seat do you prefer – driver or passenger? Definitely prefer to drive. With female best friend I always do all the driving; with male best friend he does the lion's share (he's a great driver), and with daughter, I usually do the lion's share.

Bonus Question:

If you walked out your front door and went straight ahead for 10 miles, what would you find? Rolling hills, fields of sugar cane, cows, and a river or two.

Lets Get Serious:

about food . . . what’s your favorite,

Meat? Roast pork with lots of crunchy crackle
Veggie? Green beans
Dessert? Lemon meringue pie with fresh cream
Cocktail? Pina Colada

Popcorn: butter or plain? Definitely butter - lashings of it
Chips: flavored or natural? Natural - hate the flavoured ones... always way too strong.
Nuts: salt or without? With salt... but not too much

Milk: whole, 2%, 1% or skim? Whole milk thanks... though I never drink it neat. Only use it for coffee or for making a sauce. Can't cope with skim milk at all!

Happy Mothers Weekend to all Mums!

Today's Questions:

When it comes to vacations or trips, who in your household is:

I'm the planner and packer. I used to be the driver, but in the last few years I've handed the wheel over to the next generation. Life's good as the passenger.

Bonus Question:

If you walked out your front door and went straight ahead for 10 miles, what would you find?

I would walk across the Potomac River and be in a section of Maryland that I've never been to. It may be ten miles as the crow flies but a ridiculously long drive (there's no close bridge in this section of the river).

Lets Get Serious:

about food . . . what’s your favorite,

I like various seafoods, artichokes, sorbets, and margaritas for my #1 fav. But I'm also mighty happy with a traditional meat and potatoes type of meal, too.

Popcorn: unbuttered. Chips: natural, or vinegar & salt--but I rarely eat chips anymore. Fried foods are a no no. Nuts: Cashews with low salt. Milk: Almond milk is my fav, but 1% cow milk is ok.
