Happy good morning to all in cd land

I am in a strange kind of mood... I expect something to happen, but have not the foggiest idea about it.

I often think in traffic people give me that look of don't try it and I just give it right back.

Quite often I want to run away from home the thing is I want someone to run to at least until I have had my way... LOL

Well AllyAll love and peace

Wow - I got here three days in a row! I must be doing something right for a change.

Today's Question(s):

How far do you live from the nearest:

Hospital?
4 miles
Fire department? 1.5 miles
Library? less than a mile

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had someone saying to you "Don't even think about it" ?
(giving you the "Don't even think about trying that" "look" counts too)

Hmm, guess that would have been when I walked back in the kitchen yesterday morning after going out to move the car and found the cat poised for a leap onto the kitchen table. He must have thought I was gone for the day and that it was time for his daily quota of mischief.

ETA: just realized that I misread the question.... not enough coffee yet, I guess.

The last time anyone directed the comment or look at me was when we were mowing the yard this past weekend, after which we watered the tomato plants that are in pots awaiting transplanting to the garden. As I was using the hose to give them a nice soaking, my spouse walked by pushing a wheelbarrow-load heading for the compost heap. I thought he looked a bit overheated, so I thought perhaps he'd appreciate a nice cool-down. <grin>

Don't worry, though, he got me back - we were both pretty well soaked by the time we went indoors!

Last time you used that phrase or look?

Well, neither the phrase nor the look is very effective on the cat, so it was probably the last time the spouse was feeling mischievous. That happens a lot in our family...

Extra Credit Question:

lol,Last time you wanted to "run away from home"?

Pretty much all this month. This is a really, really busy time for me, and it's only going to get worse between now and mid-August.

Just for Fun:

Any golf fans that will be watching the TPC Players Championship the next few days?

The what?

(if so you will be seeing my town !! it is being held about 15 miles from where we live)

Today's Question(s):

How far do you live from the nearest:

Hospital ? Maybe 3 miles.
Fire department ? 1 mile.
Library ? almost half mile.

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had someone saying to you "Don't even think about it" ? Maybe yesterday when a pretty lady walked by with her dog and my friend said, "nice dog" and then I said "yeah" in such a way that my wife gave me that evil-eye look.
(giving you the "Don't even think about trying that" "look" counts too)

Last time you used that phrase or look ? I never used it.

Extra Credit Question: I will but tomatoes.

lol,Last time you wanted to "run away from home" ? In the not too distant past.

Just for Fun:

Any golf fans that will be watching the TPC Players Championship the next few days ? Maybe while I eat lunch I will.

(if so you will be seeing my town !! it is being held about 15 miles from where we live) Maybe you mean Ponte Vedra? That brings some great memories for me! It was right at my old snake hunting grounds; plus, I knew a very nice young lady that worked on that course - back in the late 70's. The beach was beautiful, and you could see the most spectacular view of the heavens at night; daytime, you could find hundreds of fossilized sharks teeth.

Dammit! My "delete" button isn't working on this keyboard!

Today is:
National Nutty Fudge Day I don't want any nuts in mine.
Limerick Day I was standin there lookin at my watch
When a birdie flew into my crotch
never mind
National Nurses Day I like nurses. Female nurses.
Migratory Bird Day I saw a Bahama Bananaquit the other day.
Goofy Day That can be me, so they say. I'm not very goofy today.

Thank you Karla. Good day to all.

About two months ago, a family member was having health issues and they were taking a toll on the entire house. But, things have improved dramatically and all is well.

Today's Question(s):

How far do you live from the nearest:

Hospital ?
About a mile
Fire department ?
About two miles
Library ?
It's just around the corner from the fire station

Bonus Question:

What was the last thing that had someone saying to you "Don't even think about it" ?
(giving you the "Don't even think about trying that" "look" counts too)
At the supermarket... I had three miserable items in my basket and was in a real hurry... the check-out lines were really long, and I was all set to ask the guy in front of me (who had a loaded trolley) if he'd mind if I went in front of him. He didn't say anything but his look was enough to stop me asking!

Last time you used that phrase or look ?
When my daughter (a vegetarian) offered to cook dinner while holding a pack of tofu!

Extra Credit Question:

lol,Last time you wanted to "run away from home" ?
Not since my daughter and two step-kids were little!

Just for Fun:

Any golf fans that will be watching the TPC Players Championship the next few days ?

(if so you will be seeing my town !! it is being held about 15 miles from where we live)

Happy Thursday to all! My Thursday is just coming to a close.
