Things you might hear on a night out in the Woods! (baby)

Sounds of raccoons tipping over and going through your trash -- or worse yet, skunks!

The low murmur of other campers talking around their campfires.

The crunch of leaves being stepped on by someone, or something.

Wind blowing through the trees.

That incredibly quiet stillness as you gaze up at about a billion stars.

(I think I've just talked myself into going camping...)

No, Chanygirl does not either but for a different reason...I "camped" for my country for 8 years! Now that I don't have to I Don't ! I loved every minute of it but I also learned the how much I valued a light switch, a stove, a porcelon throne, a hot shower and a warm towel and fresh clothes from the dryer,closet or dresser drawer!! Not a camping hater just know what I like...

On the news the next day a woman (having her period) was killed by a bear while camping at a lake six miles from where we camped.
