In parts of Alaska, it's illegal to feed alcohol to a moose

Not to mention downright dangerous, if it's a lovesick moose.

By the way, I'll throw in a little tip I heard while hiking in Vermont. What do you do if you encounter a lovesick moose? Try not to run! If he sees you running he might be inclined to pursue.

The suggestion was to simply step behind a tree that's big enough that the moose can't see you. He'll forget you're there and move on to amorous thoughts about someone else. Apparently moose forget things really really quickly.

Good idea. You know what alcohol can do to a male's libido.

Not to mention what it might do to the female moose.

But only in parts of Alaska. Apparently it's a sport in the other parts.

If you put lipstick and eye makeup on a moose it's still a moose. However if you give the moose enough to drink I'm sure they'll follow you anywhere you go in Alaska.

Spoiler
It might be illegal to kiss a moose on the first date? Just thinking
