Mornin' all! Happy Tuesday

I am still trying to figure out what happened to yesterdays QOTD I posted
lol and no I hadn't taken my pain meds and "thought" I posted it

Just one of lifes mysteries I guess.
We all answered it. We can't find it now either!

So lets try again

Today's Question(s):

Lets pretend !!!

You have been offered a 1 week job (we are talking mega bucks for the week) doing "Quality Control"

Which would you be better at,something that involved:
Taste ?
Visual (looking for imperfections or typos) ?
Sound ?
Smell ?
Anything but sound. The hearing isn't what it used to be. I'd probably prefer to taste things, as long as they were yummy! But proofreading would probably be safer.

Bonus Question:

Do you have a DVR or Tvio type of recording device on your TV ?
No

If so, how many shows are sitting there waiting to be watched ?
N/A

With this week being the new seasons begins for so many shows, how many are scheduled to be recorded ?
N/A

Which is your busiest TV watching/recording night ?
As long as we catch Big Bang Theory on Thursdays, we're good. Anything else is merely habit.

Extra Credit Question:

If a friend asked to to drive them in their car somewhere(because they were unable to drive) would you ?
Absolutely! I'd rather be the driver in almost anyone else's car!!!

Last time you drove someone else's car ?
Sunday I shared the drive home from the camping trip. We were in hubby's car.

Which would you be better at,something that involved:
Taste ?

Smell ?

You forgot the sense of touch/vibration!

Ever since being deaf-blind my sense of smell has really gone up. I can tell who's going to be my interpreter for the next class just based on the smell in the air. I really like freaking them out that way too, like "Hey Jane!!" when they're halfway down the hallway having their own private (sign language, so I can't hear them) conversation. "See you in 15 minutes!! " They're always like "WTF how did you know I was here?" ….I have a deaf-blind nose…sorry!

I can also tell when women are on their periods and if your perfume is from Bath and Body works I can identify it by name. In general I identify people in my vicinity by scent (even when they don't buy from B&BW, lol.)

The reason I mentioned forgetting the vibro-tactile sense is because when I worked at an optical I could actually sense when people were approaching me from about 50 feet away because of the way the floor was built. It's one of those floors that was built to be immune to strong winds and earthquakes and so when people would walk on a certain "link" area, it would send reverberations through the whole entire wing of the building where our store just so happened to be located. Every time someone stepped on this area (and they had to get to our store, so everyone coming to our store did) I could feel the vibrations and knew someone was coming. Of course it wasn't perfect--it would pick up all the customers going to the place next door as well, but at least I never missed a customer! The other downside was that I had to remain completely still in order to feel the vibrations and sometimes people would mistake me for a mannequin and jump when I came to life! Lol.

That said, it's not a superpower or anything. It's just what happens to anyone's brain once you've been deaf and blind.

Bonus Question:

Do you have a DVR or Tvio type of recording device on your TV ?

If so, how many shows are sitting there waiting to be watched ? Don't watch TV.

With this week being the new seasons begins for so many shows, how many are scheduled to be recorded ?

Which is your busiest TV watching/recording night ? Never! Ha. While you guys are watching TV…I'm living the life sewing turtle-necks! Lol…kidding.

Extra Credit Question:

If a friend asked to to drive them in their car somewhere(because they were unable to drive) would you ? If I could drive--yes! Problem is, I'm the person asking.

Last time you drove someone else's car ? PM me if you really want to know.

For a 1 week QC job better with vision.

Have 2 DVRs, I've seen all the shows on them, I be sure to schedule The Office. Busiest TV day, Sunday, since I've gotten NFL Redzone.

I've been dreaming of driving my friend's Infiniti G35 (my dream car.) I drove someone's small Geo Prism which is murder at 6'4-6'5 and 300 pounds.

Nothing like a good mystery Kwak

Today's Question(s):

Lets pretend !!!

You have been offered a 1 week job (we are talking mega bucks for the week) doing "Quality Control"

Which would you be better at,something that involved:
Taste ? x Heaven help the company if it's chocolate
That's probably how long I'll last anyways - One week, if that.
Anyone remember watching that 'I Love Lucy' episode?
Opps, that one doesn't look quite right, it's a little too big, I'll take that then
Visual (looking for imperfections or typos) ?
Sound ?
Smell ?

Bonus Question:

Do you have a DVR or Tvio type of recording device on your TV ? Yes
If so, how many shows are sitting there waiting to be watched ? DH and my picks. Mine alone would probably be up to 10 by this weekend.

With this week being the new seasons begins for so many shows, how many are scheduled to be recorded ? 5, maybe more. Recorded the new "Two and a Half Men" and the "Dr Oz" show. "Hawaii Five-O", coupla others.

Which is your busiest TV watching/recording night ? As someone else mentioned, depends what's on. Don't have much time on weekday nights but to watch maybe one show so I depend on my Directv recording. Too bad I can't call it to ask which is the busiest day for it to record.

Extra Credit Question:

If a friend asked to to drive them in their car somewhere(because they were unable to drive) would you ? I'd more likely drive them in mine.

Last time you drove someone else's car ? Since DH and I don't have sole ownership of either car, trying to think who else's I drove. Oh yeah, it's been years but one of my fellow co-workers let me borrow his car so I can go make a chow run for us all.
