Have a wonderful vacation Karla and take care of that shoulder!

Today's Question(s):

lol fess up !!
When visiting have you ever peeked in a friend or family member's
Medicine cabinet ?
Only when I've asked my host for a headache pill (or something) and been directed to look in there.
Refrigerator ?
Only with one friend - he's a sweetie and always buys a bar of choc for me to munch on when I visit, but he forgets I prefer it room temperature. So if he's still at work when I arrive at his place, I'll check his fridge to make sure he hasn't put it there!
Cabinets ?
Nope
Under their sink ?
Nope

Bonus Question:

When traveling do you tend to:
Over pack ?
Under pack ?
I pretty much get it right - lots of travelling experience! I definitely pack light.
How soon before your flight leaves do you get to the airport ?
Depends - for an international flight they want you there two (sometimes three) hours before departure, so I don't try to get there any earlier than that. For a domestic flight, I like to get there about an hour ahead, so I can have a cup of coffee or buy a book, without rushing.

Extra Credit Question:

In honor of "Safety Pin Day"

How fast could you find a safety pin in your home ?
Within 10 seconds - maybe less.

Strangest/oddest thing you have used a Safety Pin for ?
I've used them as temporary replacement 'hooks' on curtains if one breaks or goes missing.Sometimes, they're not so temporary!

Happy Friday!

Fridge, sure. Under their sink? Why?

How soon before your flight leaves do you get to the airport ? I haven't flown anywhere in probably 20 years.

How fast could you find a safety pin in your home ? Don't know if I have any, but if I do I know where they'd be, so maybe a few minutes.

Strangest/oddest thing you have used a Safety Pin for ? When my daughters were young they made "friendship pins." They put tiny beads on safety pins and gave them to friends who wore them on sneakers.

Yay!! It's Friday! Have a happy day.

I am not a snooper. Well, other than checking to see if they have a beer that is in need of drinking.

Over pack ?
Under pack ?

I under pack for sure. Whether I am traveling for the weekend or for 3 months all I have is my laptop bag and a medium sized gym bag.

How soon before your flight leaves do you get to the airport ?

I am cursed with being habitually very early. Usually 2 to 3 hours before the flight. Sometimes even earlier. I hate sitting in a hotel room waiting to go to the airport. So I check out and wait at the airport instead. If I am running way behind I still get to the airport an hour before the flight

Extra Credit Question:

In honor of "Safety Pin Day"

How fast could you find a safety pin in your home ?

That would be measured in months or maybe even years.

Strangest/oddest thing you have used a Safety Pin for ?
I am not related to MacGyver. I am not very creative when it comes to finding uses for safety pins.

I never peek in other peoples cupboards or fridges - I would'nt be so rude! Packing, well,
where do I start. My wife has a large case that she fills to the brim when we go on holiday.
Of course a lot never gets worn, but she takes it "just in case." Just in case of what I'm not
sure. Shoes that only match one outfit are my favourite. She is studying her wardrobes with
great intent ready for Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. We have a long run of wardrobes in
our bedroom, mine of course, is the thin one at the end. The Flintstones! Wow 51 years since it premiered. I loved that show when I was a kid. I used to bother my dad with stupid
questions like "dad, what is the point of a car that you have to run to make it go?" Every
time something strange I'd notice like living in a house with no glass in the windows, I'd say
"dad..." "just watch the cartoon David!" he'd reply.

Talking about the Flintstones, my wife Judy says that programme was the reason she got
her first colour TV. She saw a colour TV in a shop window about 1968, and the Flintstones

No need to fess up. I'm guessing this is a female thing.

I can pack for a weekend in a briefcase. My theory is that anything I don't have can be bought at my destination. Heck who can't use more socks and underwear.

How soon before your flight leaves do you get to the airport ?
Depends on the airport. O'hare-90 min, Midway 60 min

How fast could you find a safety pin in your home ?
In a plastic box, center top drawer of dresser

Strangest/oddest thing you have used a Safety Pin for ?
I had a fitted sheet that would not stay on the bed and had to pin the thing on

I knew that was due to happen. Yes, she saw a colour TV in a shop window playing the
Flintstones, and had to have one. I remember reading National Geographic about 1965, it
had colour TV adverts, big beautiful wooden cabinet things. I told my dad that America had
colour TVs. He replied "America has the best of everything". I had to agree, looking at all the
big beautiful cars in the TV programmes like The Beverley Hillbillies!!

When visiting, Ive been known to peek in the fridge or food cabinets.
When traveling it depends on if I fly one of those planes that dont charge for luggage or not. If its free baggage, then I pack bigh time. If they charge, and I have to do a carry on, only whatever will fit into a carry on bag.
Because of security these days, I get to the airport at least 2 hours early.
Heres to safety pin day!
