I can't imagine us boys with stuffed animals.. the only kind of toys we liked were.. cars and guns.. that still hasn't changed to this day!

Today’s Question:

When you were 7 years old, how did you get to school (walk, bus, driven by parent etc), and what did you like best and least about getting to school that way? Walk, it was about 150 yards to school then.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you still have any teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) from your childhood ? If yes, tell us a little bit about your favourite. Never had any stuffed stuff...Marbles yes, teddy bears no. Then when I got older I lost all my marbles...

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been stung by a bee? Yes, many times. Did you have an allergic reaction to it? No, just itsy bitsy bumps.

Just for Fun:

Are you older or younger than Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” (recorded on this day in 1967)? Wee bit older me laddies.

Tuesday, day after Monday, the week is getting shorter, enjoy....

Today’s Question:

When you were 7 years old, how did you get to school (walk, bus, driven by parent etc), and what did you like best and least about getting to school that way? Everyone in town walked. If you lived farther than a mile you could ride the bus. I enjoyed talking with my friends.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you still have any teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) from your childhood ? If yes, tell us a little bit about your favourite. No not really still have a stuffed dog that my first official boyfriend won for me at the carnival that visited our little town each summer though. It's name is Flower.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been stung by a bee? Oh yeah- many times. Did you have an allergic reaction to it? Nope I was always barefoot in summer if I could manage it. Used to catch bees in glass jars with holes poked in lid with a nail and a hammer. Watched them for a while and let them go.

Just for Fun:

Are you older or younger than Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” (recorded on this day in 1967)? Older - remember well when it came out.

Everyone have a lovely Tuesday!

Today’s Question:

When you were 7 years old, how did you get to school (walk, bus, driven by parent etc), and what did you like best and least about getting to school that way? I caught the bus. I have always loved buses and thought it was fun. What I liked least was all the noise from the kids.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you still have any teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) from your childhood ? If yes, tell us a little bit about your favourite. I have one teddy bear from when I was a child. It is old and worn. It is missing an eye where my dog chewed it off. The spot where its eye was is sewn closed by myself when I was a child. I also put a cloth diaper on it.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been stung by a bee? Did you have an allergic reaction to it? I have been stung maybe 4 times, but I am not allergic.

Just for Fun:

Are you older or younger than Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” (recorded on this day in 1967)? Older.

Today’s Question:

When you were 7 years old, how did you get to school (walk, bus, driven by parent etc), and what did you like best and least about getting to school that way? Walked. The best thing was being trusted out on my own and the worst was walking in the bad weather.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you still have any teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) from your childhood ? If yes, tell us a little bit about your favourite. Just one. A stuffed white dog from my dad, purchased at the 905 liquor store. I was about 9 yrs old. I wanted it so bad and couldn't believe it when he set one on the counter for each of us. Usually all buying of toys was done by mom, so I had given up any hope of getting it since mom was at home.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been stung by a bee? yes Did you have an allergic reaction to it? no

Just for Fun:

Are you older or younger than Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” (recorded on this day in 1967)? Quite a bit older.

Today’s Question:

When you were 7 years old, how did you get to school (walk, bus, driven by parent etc), and what did you like best and least about getting to school that way? The only time I ever took a bus to school was when I was 7. That's because the school was in the next town, although it was only a few blocks away. If I missed the bus I had to walk to school. The only thing that bothered me about the bus ride was that one of the boys used to pull my braids.

Extra Credit Question:

Do you still have any teddy bears (or other stuffed animals) from your childhood ? If yes, tell us a little bit about your favourite. Mine are long gone, but my favorite and oldest one was a twin to Radar's on MASH.

Bonus Question:

Have you ever been stung by a bee? Did you have an allergic reaction to it? Yes. The worst reaction I ever had was from one of those tiny little ones. My foot swelled up and hurt and itched like crazy for hours. I could hardly walk the next day. My mom developed an allergy to bee stings. Her face swelled up and she looked like a Mongolian woman.

Just for Fun:

Are you older or younger than Bobbie Gentry’s “Ode to Billie Joe” (recorded on this day in 1967)? I remember the song well, it was on the radio constantly when I was in high school.
