Hello all. I was just thinking about this a minute after completing most of Monday's duties!

Honestly, I feel more exhausted sometimes after struggling with paperwork and unpleasant issues than I do with physical work. At least you can see that you have accomplished something with the physcial work!

So in the interest of a late afternoon Monday brain I'm posting this question. Also, since we have a lot of jokestersI'm sure some of the answers will be funny. Thanks all and hope the week started off well.

Just thinking about work makes me tired. However I'm not afraid of work,,, I can lay down beside it and fall asleep most of the time.

Mental work. My line of work is extremely detail oriented, Requires fast thinking on my feet and a great memory. I deal with large crowds as well some of the time. Fortunately after work and iced coffee and an American spirit pick me up most of the time.

Mental work. Usually, physical work invigorates me.

My job is physical, so I'm going with that answer.

I get mentally tired from listening to someone talk...and talk....and talk. I'm a quiet person, so I just nod my head.

I did some seriously heavy physical work.

And I have a lot of experience with mental work.

Mental work will exhaust you in ways you can't imagine if your only experience is physical work.

My problem is that my job has a lot of BOTH. For 10 hours at a time with no scheduled breaks.

I can't figure out which is more exhausting... but there's one that hasn't been added to the list... how about emotional exhaustion?
