I'll look to get the POTD done before the blasted ISP goes down again.
We're on another sorting out blitz here at the Jezer household. Decorators are coming here a week earlier than expected so we need to sort a few things out prior to that.
One minor thing I did earlier in the week was to change round some CDs that are in my CD player section of the HIFi in the study.
Can I find the CD case for one of the CDs I pulled out of the HiFi?
It is not unknown for me to find empty CD cases, or the wrong CD in a case.
Here with a couple of photos of the lovely market town of Marlborough, taken from the church tower at one end of the sweeping High Street, one of the widest in the Country.
The street is as wide as it is because it used to be two streets with a row of houses down the middle.
After two devastating fires in the 17th Century the middle was not rebuilt and thatch was banned from the parish. Monies were raised throughout the Kingdom to help pay for its rebuild and there is a wonderful collection of late 17th and early 18th Century buildings.
Very interesting story to go with your pics, Jezer. You are an impressive source of European history. Banning thatch was an excellent plan.
I'm usually good with storing things and finding them when needed. At this time, I am perplexed regarding the location of the pegs that support book shelves. Books were the first thing I packed when preparing to move last month. I know I put all the pegs in a small container and put it where I would find it right away. Not all boxes have been unpacked yet but I have searched through each box. No pegs. I'll probably find them as soon as I go to the hardware store and get some more.

If we haven't had that peeve already we will fairly soon!
Wow I know what you mean. We have been doing a bit of remodeling. We bought everything we need and now can only find about half of it. Guess I need to make lists for everything!
Wow Jezer your pictures were so beautiful of your dining area, I'm surprised you are doing decorating...your pictures look better that ours does after we have been decorating .... LOL
Everything in it's place, a place for everything, my motto. Now with spouse, that's a different story.
