Clean your house with eggshells. Yep, eggshells! Who knew?
Grind up some eggshells, mix them with a little soapy water and the result is a great non-toxic abrasive cleaner. Use it for tough-to-clean pots and pans, thermoses, and even glass coffee pots.
You can grind the shells using a mortar and pestle, a food processor (although they may scratch the bowl), or a coffee or spice grinder. I have a mortar and pestle that I use for herbs and spices, so I'm going to try this method to grind eggshells.
I'm all for non-toxic cleaners, especially when they use recycled materials and are free!

So ...walking on egg shells is effectively cleaning your feet or shoes? My daughter can use this tip! They have nothing for scrubbing a pot around. But, they use a lot of eggs. Thanks!
Great idea for really tough spots that can use a tough scrubbie! Cook up an omelet and then put those shells to work!

Thanks Pam.
Vinegar, guys! Distilled or ACV vinegar easily cleans a coffee pot and leaves it gleaming! It also takes away hard water stains from anything and everything!
