I don't think I've ever posted this. Close to the edge of my childhood village there was a wooden-floored iron bridge called Red Bridge, a former wooden bridge had been painted red I've been told. Just the other side of the bridge was this old dam where youngsters swan in the 1940s. There were the ruins of an old mill and its mill race at one end of the dam. A few mothers were always present, sitting on a bank of shale between the mill race and the creek. The town began supplying a life guard at one point. This is probably 1945, and I am the first boy standing on the foot of the dam.

That's a great pic Kevxu! I bet you kids had the best of times at that old bridge/dam! Sometimes the simplest of things can be the sweetest and most beautiful of things.

Seen outside a pub in my neighborhood. (Note that the "soup of the day" is served with H₂O croutons! )

Photobucket wants you to upgrade your account. I don't know what's going on, but a lot of images posted on the internet have disappeared lately for this reason, whatever it is.

Bay, from reading other posts it looks like PB is telling users with ally of photos stored to upgrade and pay for the extra storage. Couple of folks have bailed out and gone elsewhere.
