This decade is the teens and the next is twenties but what do say about last decade?

We was watching Cher on Andy Cohen tonight and she has had a number one in every decade.
So I ponder what do say the last decade was.
The o's?

yeah I guess 10 is the start of the teens her hit You Haven't Seen the Last of Me. She releasing a new album in September.
That weird the 2000's just sounds weird or to broad. Just doesnt seem right, that would be like 1900-1909 the 1900's.

Use it in a sentence of last decade like I remember the fashion of the ____.

"Aught's" has been used I think... Cher will apparently never get old. She's one of a kind like Elvis.

I never really thought about it but now that you mention it, SunnyKayak, what the heck do we call the first decade of the new century? If anyone is still alive who knew, they probably don't remember either.

2000's were a lousy decade for me. I welcomed 2010 but need about 3-4 more years to get out of the ugly era.

The new century started 2001 so there should be a few people still alive.

Most are calling the last decade either the 'aughts' or the 'naughts' and this decade seems to be on a path to being called the 'teens'.

That was funny, nitram. The late hour and my tired brain forgot to reference Sunny's comment as to what people from the 1900s called the first decade. Those were the people I was referring to. lol Thanks for the laugh, though.
