Only for about a week when I was 5 years old. My mother and the dog did not get along. It was a small dog but that's all I remember.
No desire to have pets as an adult.

At this time of year, what time does the sun set where you live ? About 4:45pm or so ... It gets fully dark around 5:30pm ...
Bonus:
Have you ever had a dog ? Was it a mutt, or a particular breed ? Me personally, no but grew up in a family that always had dogs ... We had Chow Chow, poodle, Yorkshire Terrier and a few other breeds .... Due to a traumatizing event, I don't think I'll ever own a dog.

Have you ever witnessed a birth ? Only my own, and it was so long ago I don't remember. (Neither did my mother. She was knocked out with drugs, not an uncommon practice in those days). I've seen some births on TV, though I find it hard to watch. I'm old-fashioned and don't think that childbirth is a spectator sport. Some things should be private.

At this time of year, what time does the sun set where you live ? Sunset arrives a few minutes before 5 pm.

Have you ever had a dog ? Was it a mutt, or a particular breed ? We had a mutt, a German Shepherd and a Dachshund when I was growing up. I've never owned a dog as an adult, only budgies (parakeets).
