DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Davidson County home is destroyed after officials said a house fire started when a man smoking a cigarette tried blowing his nose.

Officials said it happened around 3 a.m. at a mobile home at 425 North Silver St. in the Silver Valley Community. The man was not injured.

The incident is.. Blown out of proportion.. That might give the guy another reason to quit smoking...

He probably dropped the cigarette on a flammable material while blowing his nose...

Cigarettes are foul smelling, gross, and dangerous, especially to ones health.

Not the first time I heard of smoking in bed becoming a disaster.

According to one of the readers he was smoking in bed and fell asleep. It happened at 3 AM:
