Ah what the heck.... I'll do this one. "Things really worth seeing in your city/county"? Photos would be nice addition.


Let's see..... We have the "Tower of the America's" more affectionately known here as the Hemisfair Tower. Within walking distance is the Alamo and the Riverwalk.

About 7 miles as the crow flies from me.. Closed in 2012 Fire Marshall said it was unsafe.. plus "people" just had to cause damage and vandalism...

Once open take the video tour of the park... about a hours drive. Has great buffet on the weekend. Check out the restaurant at the Inn

Stinging Fork Natural Area near Spring City TN... about a hours drive.. This was my 3+mile hike last Jan. 400 foot descent over a 1.5 miles brings you to the water falls..
