~ Are there any smoke alarms in your home? Have you checked them lately? smoke and carbon monoxide are required by code. Mine are hard wired to the house with battey back up. I change the batteries every fall when we change the clocks. They have a useful life of about 10 years. I changed all of mine in 2011

Each year the Fiesta de las Golondrinas is held in the City of San Juan Capistrano. I was thinking Roosty might have gotten pinochle confused with the Bunco games we ladies get together to play - but, like PJ attests to regarding pinochle, even at these bunco gatherings we do have lots of food w/the games & best of all, prizes too, and they take a whole lot less concentration!
