My favourite is the shepherd or the wolf.
Oh....I saw a really tiny dog yesterday, couldn't have been much bigger than a rolled up sock, sticking his head out of some lady's purse, at Goodwill! Yes it was a real dog, just teensy!

It's fun to grow up with a dog...We got Penny when she was a pup...and I was 3.....she was an awesome Golden Retriever....we had to put her to sleep in a hot summer in 1976 when she was 13...and I was 16....I miss her.. Such a great dog....

Yep, Golden retrievers are beautiful and intelligent dogs. I've had several great dogs and wish they could live as long as most humans. Sad to watch them go and we always miss them forever. Finally we give in when we find another great dog to fill some of the emptiness.
