Todays QOTD begins with a little bitta this and a little bitta that. Did you know that many states have weird laws, but here are a few of Wisconsin's strange laws. Don't ask who came up with these, I have no idea, lol:

It is illegal to kiss on a train.

It is illegal to cut a woman’s hair.

Margarine may not be substituted for butter in restaurants unless it is requested by the customer.

Livestock have the right-of-way on public roads.

Butter substitutes are not allowed to be served in state prisons.

Just thought Id throw that out there.

Now onto the main topic, todays QOTD:

Have you ever made macaroni with swiss cheese?

Which of these salad dressings do you prefer on a basic garden salad?
French?
Thousand Island?
Ranch?
Cucumber?
Vinagarette?
Bacon Tomato?
Honey Dijon?

Do you prefer an early or late breakfast?

Angela the food fairy is paying for everyone's breakfasts this morning. Where would you go to eat, and what would you order?

When was the last time you had anything with strawberries in/on it?

If you like grits, what do you like on them?
Plain?
Cheddar?
Bacon?
Butter?
Sour cream?
Salt?
You might be surprised what Ive seen people put on grits.

Bonus questions:
Can you eat while standing?

Can you go to sleep right after eating?

Can you eat canned foods right out of the can?

Would you put salt on your watermelon?

More useless info:
The word 'bell' in other languages:

Beru Japanese)
Glocke (German)
Klocka (Swedish)
Zil (Turkish)
Sino (Portuguese)
Clochet (French) Dzwon ( Polish)

Yeah, I know, its useless, but you never know, one day someone might ask you if you can say 'bell' in another language, and there you have it, lol.
Happy Tuesday everyone~~~

Now onto the main topic, todays QOTD:

Have you ever made macaroni with swiss cheese? I never made macaroni and cheese. I have it so seldom. Always cook for one and it wouldn't be worth my time.

Which of these salad dressings do you prefer on a basic garden salad?
French?
Thousand Island?
Ranch?
Cucumber?
Vinagarette?
Bacon Tomato?
Honey Dijon?

Passing on all. I only seldom have a "basic garden salad." When I do it's oil and vinegar.

I have a deluxe salad that I have talked about many times here for lunch almost everyday. I lightly paste on Caesar dressing.

Do you prefer an early or late breakfast? Late but it's always early due to work.

Angela the food fairy is paying for everyone's breakfasts this morning. Where would you go to eat, and what would you order? I discovered a diner by accident the other day. Actually I knew about it but I never went in as I rarely go out to eat anymore. I had a flat tire the other day (ran over a nail) and it was next to the gas station where I got my tire repaired. The vegetarian omelet I ordered was very good. I do not remember the name but it's just south of the University Of Maryland on Route 1 in College Park. She can take me there.

When was the last time you had anything with strawberries in/on it? On cereal - 2 days ago.

If you like grits, what do you like on them?
Plain?
Cheddar?
Bacon?
Butter?
Sour cream?
Salt?
You might be surprised what Ive seen people put on grits.
Can't recall I ever had them.

Bonus questions:
Can you eat while standing? Yes, did it on Saturday. Work treated us to pizza. Sadly I was rushed.

Can you go to sleep right after eating? No.

Can you eat canned foods right out of the can? - Maybe I can but can't recall if I ever did. I do not buy canned foods very often. Beans and Amy's soup only.

Would you put salt on your watermelon? No. Come to think of it it's been many years since I last had watermelon.

Thanks, WW.
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday!

My day off.

Have you ever made macaroni with swiss cheese?
No, but I have one recipe that uses four different cheeses; just not Swiss.
Which of these salad dressings do you prefer on a basic garden salad?
French?
Thousand Island?
Ranch?
Cucumber?
Vinaigrette or
Bacon Tomato?
Honey Dijon

Do you prefer an early or late breakfast?
Late. I'm a night owl and seldom get up before 12 noon.

Angela the food fairy is paying for everyone's breakfasts this morning. Where would you go to eat, and what would you order?
I would go to Chloe's, a small neighborhood cafe in San Francisco and have their Swedish oatmeal pancakes with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and a cappuccino.
When was the last time you had anything with strawberries in/on it?
I had croissant French toast with strawberries at Chloe's last month.
If you like grits, what do you like on them?
Plain?
Cheddar?
Bacon?
Butter
Sour cream?
Salt?
You might be surprised what Ive seen people put on grits.

Bonus questions:
Can you eat while standing?
Yes
Can you go to sleep right after eating?
Not until the table is cleared and the dishes are done.
Can you eat canned foods right out of the can?
No
Would you put salt on your watermelon?
No

Thanks for the odd laws, the questions and the language lesson, wisconsin woman!

This time I would go to brunch at whatever restuarant that was by the locks in Seattle (was it Ivars???) and I would have an omelet with good schtuff in it.

When was the last time you had anything with strawberries in/on it? Smoothie at the little cafe 14 mile away.

If you like grits, what do you like on them? I LOVES me some grits!!!

Plain?
Cheddar?

Bacon?
Butter?

Sour cream?
Salt?
You might be surprised what Ive seen people put on grits. Well, they're SUPPOSED to have a fried egg with a gooshy runny yolk on top. Break the yolk, then eat the gooey runny buttery eggy grits. UMMMMMM. I like tomatoes in them, too. Oh, and don't forget the black pepper!

Bonus questions:
Can you eat while standing? Is there anyone who can't???

Can you go to sleep right after eating? Before, during, and after.

Can you eat canned foods right out of the can? Well that's just yucky. I guess I could, though.

Would you put salt on your watermelon? NO!!! I don't understand people who must ruin the best food in the world in this very odd way.

On, Wisconsin!
