Pickle Jars and other things with large screw on lids.. when your old you can't open them. Why not put a Allen key divot in the lid.. universal size 1/2 inch now us old people can get some leverage to open them...
You can't get your hands around the jar.. or the lid. Putting the jar between your legs causes rug burns on your thighs... I need Suzanne Somers for that.

If you were on public transport sitting by yourself in a quiet carriage you wouldn't expect the next person to go sit right next to you when there were dozens of other seats to chose from.

So why the heck does someone park next to you in an otherwise empty parking lot?

Yep, seen that for years. This is the age of narcissism. Also honked at once for making a turn too slow to suit the eejit behind me, though at normal speed, never happened before or since. Message was, "Get outta my way!"

I've got the same problem. You can buy jar openers like these. I'd be lost without mine.

Or, if you know someone in the medical field, try to get one of those rubber tourniquet thingies they use when they draw blood. Those are great for opening jars. Last time I had to do lab tests, when they drew the blood I asked for a tourniquet (explaining the reason why), and the tech was more than happy to give me one.

It must be your animal magnetism, Jez.

May I add I am only 55 and the packages inside of packages hard to open... like cereal or packaged sauce. or cheese packages....some pop bottles have been tightened by Hercules....have to have a scissors round 24/7......pisses me off....
