worn a helmet ? I did when I use to ride a motorcycle. I had a full face helmet and glad of it. The one time I had to lay my bike down once I got up I looked at my helmet and saw that it had several deep gouges in it. Those gouges would have been in my face had I not had the helmet on.
made a candle ? Nope
set off a backyard rocket ? I have a few times
had to abandon a vehicle mid-journey ? I have always been able to stick around until a tow truck showed up. Never had to just leave the car and hope for the best.
used an ejector seat/floatation cushion/parachute ? I have never had to make a hasty exit.
had a limb in traction ? No traction for me. When I broke my arm it was in a sling
Just for Fun: Have you ever studied and/or communicated using- smoke signals ? semaphore (waving flags on sticks) ? Morse Code ? Have you seen the British mystery series “Inspector Morse” (or read the books by Colin Dexter) ? No to all of the above.

Same for you, cloven.
Many of the doors in my house will not stay open unless you use a doorstep. We have some of the wedge type.
In high school we learned to use a slide rule, but I've long since forgotten how.
I may have briefly worn a helmet when my brother took me for a ride on his motorcycle.
No to all the rest of the questions.
Thanks, cloven!
