Today’s Question:
When is the last time you were in a forest ?
- Not sure if sightseeing in New England counts but if it does then about 2 years. That would be the closest.

What is the most common type of tree/vegetation in your surroundings (that you can identify/know the name of) ? - D/K

Where you live, do you ever see mushrooms/toadstools/fungi/lichen growing on nearby lawns, stumps, logs, etc. ? - Sometimes I see wild mushrooms.

Does moss grow in your climate ? - I've seen it.

Extra Credit:
Do you have awards on display such as trophies, plaques, ribbons, or certificates of achievement ?
- No, it's only me here. I never have guests over.

If you received a diploma and/or college degree, where is that piece of paper now... - Stored in a box.
-is it framed/on your wall ?
-was it given away ?
-is it stored away someplace you haven’t checked for years ? - Closest answer.
-did you toss it out ?
-or other ?

Bonus:
Do you have a baseball bat ?
- Edit: I have one baseball and one softball bat.
Do you own any sports equipment ? - I still have both baseball gloves, 2 bats, a baseball, and softball I used when I was younger. The last time I played was 1995 and I got injured doing so. An accident when I went into an unsecured 2nd base after a double on my first swing in an actual game in 9 years and tore both hamstrings. It ruined my summer.
The last time I played organized softball was exactly 30 years ago. I never played professionally but I did play for a number of years in organized leagues, pick-up games, and regular praxtice.
If so, are the items still used, or are they sentimental belongings ? - Last year I mentioned to a friend that I still have my gloves and we should throw the ball around just for fun. We never did but perhaps I will make the suggestion again now the weather is getting warmer.
How recently have you worn a baseball cap ? - Last summer at a Baltimore Orioles baseball game.

[b][color=DarkRed]Just for Fun:
Have you ever attended a puppet show ?
Have you ever participated in a puppet show ?
- I remember them as a kid but watching only.
Realize it’s mostly done in the UK & not well known in the States, but have you ever been to a “panto” ? - No.

Thanks, cloven. Fun questions.
Happy Monday to all!

Far, far too long. I belong in the forest. I am a fish out of water. I hate living where I do. Somebody help me! I do windows, I cook real good, I shop and I drink cheap beer.

What is the most common type of tree/vegetation in your surroundings (that you can identify/know the name of) ?

Palms & coconut palms, hibiscus, scheffleras (umbrella trees), bougainvillea, banyan and mangroves.

Where you live, do you ever see mushrooms/toadstools/fungi/lichen growing on nearby lawns, stumps, logs, etc. ?

Only on my 'yard'...nowhere else.

Does moss grow in your climate ?

Sure...even Sundew(s)....a carnivorous plant - as the Venus Fly Trap (Dionaea) is.
