I've got to admit it ... I've already started saving for Christmas! I have a money pot and any extras go into it on top of the X amount I've alloted every pay check.

Uhhhhhh, dear four sided thing a mah bob that fits into somewhere....Are you preparing for next Christmas or do you have relatives coming from far, far away? lol. Oh, I know, you leave it as is and just move it to a lonely spot. ?????? Now why didn't I think if that?
Uh, that's Mr. Quadrupus Pegasillius to you buddy -
We leave our tree up and lit every night through the winter. It's out on our front porch. We have snow - we need a Christmas tree. Well, I guess we don't actually need it, but we sure do like it. It goes when the snow is gone. This is a tradition as old as the Reagan administration. It ain't like we keep the sugarplum faeries floating around the rest of the joint. Just the tree.

Now that is something I would like. We use to cut a cedar tree from the woods and place it in front of our house . The top 3-4 feet would be just above the floor of the second floor balcony and our oldest son would be able to see it every night. We would leave the lights lit until he would go to sleep. Yep, even left it up far longer than the one in the house. That was many years ago.
