12. Have you ever totalled a car? Yes, coming down a ramp to the company's underground garage, I hit a cement wall. I was driving a stick shift and the engine had stalled, but I didn't realize it. Suddenly I had no power steering or brakes and couldn't control the car. The imprint of a 1980 Honda Accord grille remained on the wall for years afterward as an emblem of my shame. I now drive automatics.

Good morning all from northern England....... it's still raining...... Sorry you're feeling under the weather Linda, and hope you feel better soon.
I didn't have a rocking horse when I was a kid, but my Auntie Olive had one in the corner of her living room. It was a big sucker on a frame that swung back and forth. I used to have many a ride on it. Auntie Olive told me to stop after I reached 18 years of age, as she was frightened I would break it........
What do I most procrastinate about? Decorating the house in any way or form. Anyone who read in other threads about my wallpapering, and painting my kitchen last year will know what I mean.
Did I have braces? I sure did....... they held my knee pants up when I was a kid........ I just use a belt nowadays.
I have seen the Statue of Liberty in person. I have stood directly underneath it. We weren't allowed to go inside it, as there were terrorist worries at that time in 2002. We went to Ellis Island as well. Real interesting place.
Hemming and hawing is a speciality of mine. Generally over where to go on holiday. I don't hem and haw in direct situations. For instance, if someone says to me, "what do you think about that David?" Meaning something personal. Well, I will tell them what I think. I am very direct. This has caused me a few problems during my life. Sometimes folks ask what you think, but don't really want to hear it.
I don't wear socks to bed. I sleep naked, and have done so since I was a teenager.
The last fast food item I ate? Hmmmmmm. I don't really eat much fast food. It was probably a breakfast burger in a Las Vegas McDonald's.
