Good morning everyone
Happy Tuesday
I have to hurry because today is "I have to mow the lawn Day" at Karla's house and I want to be out there at 8
With all the rain we have been getting the darn stuff keep growing We are at twice a week mowing
lol the "puppy" ralph was wading through the grass like he was on a safari so I got the hint

Hmmm I just got an idea for (I already had one but I think this would be more fun )

Todays question:

What is the "Today is:" at your house or in your life today ?

Extra credit if you check in tonight to tell us you completed your "Today is:"

Today in history:
June 24, 1817 1st coffee planted in Hawaii on Kona coast
June 24, 1901 1st exhibition by Pablo Picasso, 19, opens in Paris
June 24, 1938 500 ton meteorite lands near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania - can you imagine explaining that to the insurance adjuster

Word of the day
:
glutinous \GLOOT-nuhs\, adjective:
Of the nature of glue; resembling glue; sticky.

Today is:
National Pralines Day - I actually have a small box of these haven't tried them yet
and
National Celebration of the Senses Day
and
National U.F.O. Day
It is also
National Forgiveness Day

Today is just a plain old regular day in our house. But since I don't like passing up Karla's Question of the Day, I'm taking a moment to tell you that nothing is happening today. I will enjoy coming back later today for my extra credit to confirm for you all that, in fact, nothing happened.

Charley

Ok, I want the day Charley is having at his house! darn....

Today is I have to get out to the garage and start sorting through the stuff out there. Most of it has been out there for the past 5 years. It hasn't been used, touched, or thought of either. It's a culmination of 3 houses of stuff...mostly my parent's house. ick....

Oh Molly. Believe me it's not the day I want! I was in the midst of many home improvement projects when I stopped for surgery and I'm still recovering - and WAY too slowly for me. There is so much work waiting for me that it's crazy - and I do want to start doing it again. I am hoping that in mid-July when the surgeon sees me for (hopefully) my final visit, he will clear me to start getting my projects done again.

oops, that's right...I've been gone too long Charley! I'm glad to hear the recovery is going well and believe me, I completely understand the frustration of waiting during recovery. BUT, it's important and does make a difference I know you know that! hmmm....maybe I should stay in and keep you company? lol...

Today is the day I drive 23 miles to town to (first) go to the Golden Year's class that is hosted by the church's Northside congregation there, and then do my weekly shopping.

Today is "take plenty of Advil day, so that you don't feel the sense of pain from a toothache on National Celebrate the Senses Day." (I do believe the time is here for the root canal my dentist -- and me, too! -- was hoping I wouldn't need.)
