That's a Beechcraft, Bonanza.

WOW!!! Those people are EXTREMELY lucky! The reporter mentioned that aviation fuel was leaking into the flight deck and on them. Hanging on those power lines with the wind blowing, that definitely would have been a formula for the aircraft to burst into flames.

I'm glad they were rescued safely, and I hope they were able to salvage the Beechcraft.

But should the pilot be charged? This pole cat appears wired and flighty and surely experienced some high tension. Why did he try to wing it? Did someone tamper with his joystick? This situation could have had a revolting outcome.

It's not a Beech Bonanza, it looks more like a Cirrus homebuilt or something similar.

It was hard to tell by the way it was shown in the news video, but it looked like a Beech Bonanza.

The Bonanza's have retracts on them, this plane has fixed gear and the nose wheel isn't steerable.
