Being a daredevil...Wouldn't it be great news if per chance he got out before the plane hit. Could be injured someplace and being taken care of by who knows. Just being optimistic here. I'd love to hear on the news (someday soon) that he's alive and well.

Unfortunately he didn't have a parachute with him so the chances of that being the case are slim. Thankfully, however, assuming he is no longer with us, it was probably quick so that is a positive. I do hope they find his body though so his family can have some closure. Can't imagine what they must be going through at the moment.

Yes, I heard he was found by a Yeti (Big Foot) and they hobbled off to a nearby cave and while watching the CNN story about his plight, he decided to lay low and capitalize on his adventureous saga right after the movie comes out and he can reap his monetary rewards...

Was that on an episode of Days Of Our Lives? 'Cuz I know in that town (it's set in the town of Salem... state unknown), no one dies and they're found 5-10 years later having just been kidnapped by someone!

I hope this allows his wife some closure.

Debris from the wreckage of his aircraft was scattered around, but no remains of Fosset were found. A hiker also found a sweat shirt, cash and his identification.

I know Kathy Bates isn't pretty....but that's no reason to call her a Yeti.

At least the mystery is over, they are doing dna testing on the bones they have found in the wreckage, of course that is just to confirm what we already know, at least we know he died instantly from the impact and didn't suffer. RIP

Yes, Roaddog, at least his death was quick and painless. I am glad his family can be at peace now.
