I think he's gone - I've been following this story -

How sad. I know of him because of living in Kansas. He's so well known there.

I agree with you.From what i have read & heard he is ( or was ) a good/decent man.Its been 2 weeks & still no sign of him.Their is always a slim chance of hope that he survived but i honestly doubt it.It turns out that a few planes have been found during the search dating back to the 60s.At least the family members of the missing people will finally get closure.It would be horrible to lose a loved one & not know what happened to them.

It's unlikely he's still alive - I heard some great things about him as well.

Yes, I also heard about the other planes. Too bad one of them wasn't his. I feel bad for his family -

It seems in todays world every plane should be required to have a locating beacon.
