I used to have to make calls to customers asking if they were pleased with our homecleaning services and if there were any complaints. But thats a whole nother thing I guess.

My pet peeve is trying to reach state/county government workers after the holidays are over and getting their voicemails because they're still on vacation. They say someone covering for them will return my call, but they never do.

I hate the automated systems that call several numbers at the same time. The first unlucky person to pick up gets the pitch while the rest get hung up on. We never answer the phone before the second ring and sometimes not at all depending on the caller id.

Next thing is the recorded message pitch. We've gotten several for extending warranties and of course the political pitches. The worst thing is that our voice mail system requires us to listen to the whole message before we can delete it.

Well all the ones I have received are computer! I have asked them to put us on the no call list, but it seems that doesn't work.
It is very annoying when all it is that, I have been approved for credit cards or a lot of them have to do with my last business to loan me money for whatever.
Surely if I want to get a credit card or a loan, I definitely would not use some company calling me randomly to borrow it from!!!

I'm truly sorry if people have to work through one of those places!
Most of the calls I've receive is a voice on a computer and if I do talk to someone in person they have never been from here in the USA...

I'm just so tired of them calling over and over again. The same companies!
Thank goodness for caller ID & being able to block calls.
It has help to eliminate all the frustration of the endless calls.

I sort of have a problem with organizations who hire people to do their soliciting. Not too long ago I recognized the number for one such group-I had told them to call back, and they actually did...So, dH answers the phone, and they start off with all the things they have for sale, and he tells them 'oh no thanks, we're fine' like they were offering to do us a big favor! Maybe you had to be there, but I can picture the person on the other end maybe being a little baffled by the remark!

On another note: Where is Alice with a fresh peeve? Can you be peeved about not having a place to peeve even if you don't have any fresh peeves?
