Guess they have to come up with the money from somewhere but it always seems to be us! And somehow it gets lost somewhere not going to where it is intended. I sure hope they use it properly this time! If it helps getting jobs out there for people needing jobs then I'm good with that. I just don't care to have it going in some wealthy politicians bank account!

I guess my "gas is great" fantasy is over. I was spending 600 a month to commute to work this last year, now I have a happy truck, guess that will end soon.

My Dad and I both freaked out at the exact same time yesterday when we got our electric bills. I ran over there and he was outside reading the meter, his had doubled, mine went up significantly. He had already been on the phone with the electric company

We were just talking in the Indiana thread about how our property taxes were lowered then capped last year only to have counties and cities/towns impose other taxes & fees. LOIT (local income tax raise) cigarette tax raise, new trash fees, new sewer rates are all chewing up the savings from the property tax reduction. I paid $100 more for LP gas in Dec than I did in Nov for the same amount of gallons delivered! After barrell prices went down.

Our government can't keep printing money to pay our debts so they have to tax us but it is getting to the point where some families can't take anymore increases. They are already hurting to make ends meet it is going to get a lot worse but the majority of America doesn't think so.

It'll be a trickle down whammy for sure. Truckers costs will also be passed thru to John and Jane Doe via higher food, etc costs.

It’s easy to look to the past to see why we are where we’re at. A decade filled with bad mistakes and leadership in corporations and government agencies. Rewarding failures in government & corporate leadership, no one held accountable and these criminals get paid multiples of millions to continue working for the business. Wall Street, AIG and others followed the same lead as Enron, Global Crossing, Tyco and others. No one held accountable!

This isn’t the country our grandparents and parents gave us.

Big Brother Socialism is on it's way. Soon we'll have to direct deposit all our earnings to the government sp they can control everything we do and pay for it.
Did you know that if we called in all the money owed to the USA by foreign countries since WW-II that we would not have to pay any taxes forever.
