Today's Questions:

Back when you were in school, when it came to school projects or papers which were you

A. Start way in advance & finish early

Did this in college.

B. *Gasp* Realize on Sunday Night that it was due the next day
And this throughout most of elementary, middle and high school. I learned eventually....

Bonus Question:

What has caused you to utter the words "I'll never do THAT again!"

When my daughter was in middle school, over a decade ago, she decided that she wanted a Halloween costume, and as usual, asked me to make it for her. She decided on a grown-up version of Laura Ingalls, from Little House on the Prairie, and I spent probably 25 hours sewing an authentic complete costume (including petticoat, bloomers and bonnet) for her.

She was in her middle school orchestra, and all the musicians were asked to appear in their costumes for a late October concert. She duly donned the costume for me to drive her to school. As we were driving into the parking lot, she saw ONE of the other orchestra members walking up not wearing a costume, and announced that there was no way she was walking into that school wearing the costume. I wound up driving her back home, waiting while she changed into regular garb, then driving her back to school. And when the curtain went up on the orchestra that evening, she and the ONE other musician she saw walking up to the school were the ONLY ones not wearing a Halloween costume.

She wore that costume for roughly 5% of the time it took me to make it for her, and I swore that I would never, ever make her a costume again.

Extra Credit Question:

When you want to watch DVD's do you get them
By mail

None of the above, I don't watch movies or television. I enjoy good live theater but abhor recorded stuff.

What has caused you to utter the words "I'll never do THAT again!"

At a New Year's Eve party, I had "several" shots of tequila in about 45 minutes because it tasted like water and I didn't feel the buzz. An hour later, I was sick as a dog. I spent the next three days in bed! My parents thought someone poisoned me. That was about 35 years ago. I never had tequila again.

National Banana Bread Day

I'm going into the kitchen to get the last piece in celebration ... unless my wife took it for her lunch!
