It was a gorgeous typically warm day for the very south of AL. Tomato growing weather. Starting see in mid January when we don't have to travel until it's time to put them in the dirt.
I think we got a glancing blow of the latest front out of the north as it heads for the NE. The wind blew pretty hard here all day but has now mostly died out. The temp went up to 70°F (21.1°C) today but the low tonight is supposed to drop to 32°F (0°C.)

Bad storm headed our way. Tornado headed in our direction (W. Ky.) from Arkansas/Missouri. Local TV weather men said fatalities at a nursing home in SE Mo. This strong weather is coming through in 3 or 4 waves tonight till around 4 AM.
Sandberg, Tn. fire department took a direct hit, people trapped inside. 8:50 PM Friday and this tornado has now touched 4 states, Ark, Mo, Tn, Ky.
