The weather wasn't too bad right after lunch today with the temp here reaching in the upper 60s although a cool wind was blowing out of the north. I put on a coat, went outside and did some more work on the house windows on the south side but the temp has now dropped into the 50s and the north wind has picked up and with it dust and dirt. The current visibility is supposed to be 5 miles but looking out across the field in front of the house this moment, I'd say it was more like 1/4 mile.
Right now it's partly cloudy and windy with a dropping temp of 58°F. The low tonight is supposed to be 27°F with winds continuing from the north at 25 to 35 mph occasionally gusting to over 40 mph. The currently humidity is a dry 24%.
Today's temperature here on the Texas south plains is forecast to be much warmer than yesterday with plenty of sunshine and a high of 64°F. Right now at 10:47 am the temp is at 42.3°F. The winds are expected to be from the NNW at 10 to 20 mph. The current humidity is 29%.
Rather cold for the south of AL and of all things snow flurries later today....
