Ever been a moment when you see or imagine yourself 5, 10, 20 years from now and being all alone. I sometimes get that thought and find myself worrying for my children and whats ahead for them!

How about you?

Jesus said in Matthew 6:34 "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today".

I worry more about the declining health of the USA then I do my own personal health. After recently seeing all my classmates whom I last saw 30 years ago and without any doubt I look younger then all of them I have no worries about falling apart before my time. I am the only one left with hair for crikie sakes. And I never cut it since then either.

How old is old? Is it in our minds or in our appearance?

Well I think alot of it starts with our appearance and progresses from that point. At that point it effects the mind in my opinion. I had an opportunity this past year to visit with people from my past and like you appeared younger in looks and was even questioned, how do you do that?

Looks or age just the concern for my children and what is ahead for them.
Thanks for the input!

Growing old certainly beats the alternative.

aging is terrible, but few think about it much. mostly people say aging but they are really talking about health decline. every obese person i know says its tough getting old, most are younger than me but act like old people.
