Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
I was worried...

Good morning to my patient friends!

Today's Question(s):

How many of our QOTD family have a GPS unit in your car ? Hubby has.

If you “don’t” and you get lost what do you do first ? Cry?

Can you re-fold a road map ? Not always...

Bonus Question:

When you were a kid did you have

A teen line for yourself ? No

An extension phone from the main line in your room ? No

Sigh everyone heard my conversations ? This one

*and for those younger QOTD members*

Instead, did you have your own cell phone ?

Extra Credit Question:
Lets talk about crayons !!

How many crayons did you have in the box ? Are we supposed to remember that?

When coloring in a coloring book did you

Stay in the lines ? Not at first, because I was too little but later, yes, I stayed in the lines.
Trace around the lines first ?" No
Not only did I color outside the lines but I often had blue trees No. I've always been good at colors

Just for Fun:

Is any one watching the Baseball playoffs ? No way. I still don't understand anything so I gave up.
If so, which team are you rooting for ?

Today in history
1986 - "Phantom of the Opera" premieres in London Never seen it, but I read the book that inspired it and it's one of my favorite books.

Word of the Day:
convivial \kuhn-VIV-ee-uhl\ , adjective:
1. Fond of feasting, drinking, and good company; sociable.
2. Merry; festive.

Moldy Cheese Day Yuk. I really don't like cheese
National Sneakers Day OK
World Post Day OK
Dessert Day Should be every single day!

Marking my spot - - - I am never on the first page!! Thanks Karla, I was kind of lost there! Now let's see if I can edit this thing right! Oh no - I see that when I hit "edit" I can't use smileys. It is going to be a rough morning trying to post without the use of smileys........

How many of our QOTD family have a GPS unit in your car?
I am not one of them. I am still a little too old fashioned to rely on one of those. Give me a map anyday!

If you don't and you get lost, what do you do first?
By the time I go anywhere that I have never been before, I usually have studied the map so many times that I have it memorized! I don't like getting lost in unfamiliar places. The last time I got really lost was many years ago when I let a boyfriend convince me that he knew where he was going..... We ended up under a bridge somewhere in a very scary part of town!!

Can you re-fold a road map?
Yes I can!!

When you were a kid did you have
A teen line for yourself? I had one of these when I was about 11, until it got taken away from me for "crank calling"!!
An extension phone from the main line in your room? Never got a phone in my room again after the above incident!
Sigh - Everyone heard my conversations? This would probably apply. My parents were usually in the family room, and the phone was in the living room, so I had a little privacy. This was before cordless phones!
*And for those younger QOTD members* I guess I don't fit into this category!
Instead did you have your own cell phone? My first cell phone was one of those "bag phones" in 1990!

Let's talk about crayons!!
How many crayons did you have in the box?
That's been a long time ago - - - Maybe 64??

When coloring in a coloring book did you
Stay in the lines? Yes
Trace around the lines first? Yes to this too - usually in a darker shade of the inside color
Not only did I color outside the line but I often had blue trees! No blue trees here!

Is anyone watching the baseball playoffs? Not me
If so which team are you rooting for?

Submarine Hoagie Hero Grinder Day - Yum - I had one of those yesterday!
Moldy Cheese Day - I'll pass...
National Sneakers Day - I am wearing mine today, but we call them tennis shoes!
Dessert Day - Oh yeah, I've been waiting for this!!

TGIF for everyone!! Have a great weekend too!!

If you “don’t” and you get lost what do you do first ?

Can you re-fold a road map ?

A teen line for yourself ?

An extension phone from the main line in your room ?
You're kidding right?
Sigh everyone heard my conversations ?
That was the reason the phone was downstairs I believe.

How many crayons did you have in the box ?

Stay in the lines ?
Trace around the lines first ?" did this last
Not only did I color outside the lines but I often had blue trees

Smile Happy Friday, all!!

I was surprised when I moseyed by and there was...gasp! no question!
Ok...here we go...
GPS unit?
No, but my husband has something very comparable on his Palm Pre phone. He wants to get me a GPS since I'm a bit "directionally impaired" shall we say....
If I get seriously lost, the first thing I generally do is call my husband.
Can I refold a road map?
Of course, but it won't be necessarily the way it came!

Phone as a teen?
I had a "princess phone" in my room. Not my own line.

Coloring?

64 crayon box
I colored in the lines as best I could...sigh

It looks like some people are addicted to this thread. It's like walking into Starbucks and finding out that they're out of coffee first thing in the morning. How about some tea today? lol
