Trying to think of something to stimulate brain functioning during this new year. I thought I would throw out a "proverb" each day to see if people have heard it before and to get opinions on what they think it means.

Today's Proverb:

Stretch your arm no longer than your sleeve will reach.

I would say it probably means: think before you do more than you are humanly capable of handling. This is my take on it.
