I have always been a bath before bed person. I do not like showering because I cannot stand to have my face wet or any period of time. When I wash my face I wash it and dry it immediately and nothing irritates me more than having a wet face. When I swim, I either do not get my face wet, or if I do, I get out and dry it off right away (I always keep a towel close by for this purpose).
I love a blistering hot bath before I go to bed at night. It is so relaxing and I have no trouble falling asleep immediately. I can't understand how people who take a shower in the morning consider it a "picker upper" since on the rare (very rare) occasions when I have had a shower or bath in the morning, it was all I could do to stay awake afterwards.
Another factor I could never understand is why people will go to bed with all of the filth of the day on them and then wake up, shower - only to get dirty all over again. That does not make any sense to me. I think it makes lots more sense to take a bath to get rid of the dirt of the day, go to bed and then you are (reasonably) clean to start the next day and get dirty all over again.
So are you a bath or shower person? Morning or bed time?
I'm an evening bath person. When I worked I was in the office 6:30 - 7 a.m. and had to get up at 4:30 as it was. No time for bathing in the a.m. so it's both a matter of habit as well now also preference. I'm outside a lot spring/summer/fall and don't want to climb in bed dirty.
My mother did the same so I guess we know where I got it.
I usually do both. I have a huge jacuzzi tub in my master bedroom. After the kids go to bed, my wife and I usually jump in the jacuzzi bath with a bottle of wine Most of the time were going to need that morning shower. Me always
Shower in the morning.
I hate baths, and I want to be and feel perfectly fresh when I leave home in the morning! But of course, I'm not against a good shower in the evening!
I either shower or take a bath at night. It's too early in the morning when I get up and the steam makes my hair all flat.
