Please allow me to clarify in regards to sharing your personal photograph.
There is no rule that you can not share your self-portrait on City-Data forums. However, there is a option in your settings to add your picture inside your profile. Any member can click on your profile to view. This is totally optional. You are not required to add your self-portrait here.
